Fayette Samaritans is open Monday, Thursday and Friday from 9:00 AM until 11:30 AM. We take our last client at 11:00 AM and everyone must wear a mask. Please arrive early to insure proper assistance. Clients must be a resident of Fayette County, Georgia to receive services.
People needing financial assistance with utilities or housing must have an appointment. Telephone calls will be accepted on Monday, Thursday and Friday between 9:00 AM and 11:30 AM to schedule a day and time for an in-person appointment. Valid proof of Fayette County residency and a photo ID are required at the time of interview.
If emergency financial services are needed, eviction notices and/or discontinue notices are necessary to receive assistance.
Documents to Bring
* Valid Drivers’ License
* Social Security Cards for all members in the household.
* Current Utility Bill (to prove residency)
* Paycheck stub or other proof of income (including TANF, Disability, Medicare, Child Support, etc.)
* Paper copies are required of all documents. Samaritans cannot accept digital copies and cannot print copies for clients.
Families in need of groceries should drive into the parking lot but stay in their car. Someone will assist you. Families may receive groceries up to six times per year and must wait two weeks between visits.
