Facts for Fayette Samaritans, Inc. 1/1/2025 through 12/31/2025

In 2025 Fayette Samaritans served over 2000 Fayette County families or an average of 41 families per week.  Families requesting services for the first time were 39%.    Over two thirds of our client families received grocery assistance and 37% were assisted to prevent eviction or to keep from utilities from being disconnected.  The majority of our families have minor children and/or are seniors on a limited income.  Families below the poverty level are 61%

Fayette Samaritans is a 501-C-3 organization.  Donations are tax deductible.  We are an all-volunteer organization.  Our overhead and administrative cost are about 5%.
