Donations

Onsite donations are accepted during the business hours of 9:00 to 12:00 Monday through Friday or by special appointment. Fayette Samaritans is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt charitable organization so many donations are tax deductible.

Donations by Check or Credit Card

Cash donations are used for families in crisis to prevent eviction or disconnection of utilities.  Cash is necessary so that we may buy specific items to balance out our food pantry. Cash donations are necessary to sustain our facility and cover utilities.  Everyone at Fayette Samaritans is a volunteer which keeps our administrative cost under 5%. Please mail donations by check (No Cash Please) to The PO Box 1071 Fayetteville, GA 30214 Your check will be tax deductible. We thank you in advance for your gift.

Credit card donation can be made via the link at the bottom of this page.

Donations of new or quality used clothing supply our clothes closet, which serves our clients and their families. Work-appropriate clothing for men and women, school clothes for children, pajamas in all sizes and new underwear and sox in all sizes are always needed.

Non-Perishable Food Items

Non-perishable foods are needed to continually stock our food pantry. Member churches and organizations sponsor food drives that provide most of our inventory through the year. The local Boy Scouts of America troops and packs participate with their "Scouts For Food" campaign, the Girl Scouts of America collect food as part of their community service, the U.S. Postal Service donates through their “Stamp out Hunger” campaign, and the Peachtree City Fire and Rescue donates food items collected during their annual “Santa Run”.

Volunteers

Volunteers are very important to the success of our ministry. There are many opportunities to support Fayette Samaritans with all kinds of tasks with convenient work times.
